First Gig with Nick

first Gig with nick.

Ever since i left mind over matter with cannon and caleb ive never wanted to go back,
my last gig with them was gig in the gardens, soon after we were due to pay a visit to
pulse, i showed up Caleb showed up cannon showed up and the new guy Adam that
joined the band just before gig in the gardens didnt show so our practise was no longer ahead.
cannon had another band he was working with doing death metal crap he was in there
playing with them, and nick morgan was there to watch us i said why dont me and caleb
go to your house and play some stuff??? he said ok and thats were it all started........

we got to his house and just did nirvana stuff to get used to each other, and every
weekend after i played with him at his house with small aps but it was good. so we
stated a fact that covers were not what promoters and producers want but who said
its what they want????? anyway we started making originals (i had aready made
heaps from 2 albums) and now we have a good 20, we organised a concert at the
lenah valley hall on the 6th of may, and god there is gonna be alot of people,
and we got asked to play at the Derwent Valley autumn festival up high street
and that would be our first gig, so we practise and got our mind over matter
sound happening.
now today we went up took a trailer full of gear "big front house speakers,
samson 8 track mixer, foldbacks guitar amps" and we played for 2 and half
hours and we were not getting money for it so towards the end we decided
to put the hat out and surprisingly we made 24 buks and that was our first Gig.
