When i was 17, in the band Mind over matter with my cousin and friend Nick Morgan, Nick was always breaking up with his girlfriend Laura, and fighting constantly.
I had never met her and he hardly spoke of her.

When they finally broke up for good and he was getting with every girl he spoke too,  we also had stopped talking, and months later Laura had been talking to me. Over a period of time we decided to go to Carols by candlelight together, which at the end shared our first kiss, and began a relationship of over 2 years.

The first few months were great, when she introduced me to her parents who i adored, i felt right at home. They were a really big Italian family, I spent one Christmas with her whole family and it was the biggest Christmas i had been too.
Her Dad was a cop, and would always be trying to get me to go to the police force, i didn't really have any desire to do that apart from to make him proud so we talked a number of times about it. Laura's mum was a school teacher, and probably the nicest lady i had ever met. I practically lived at their place,  and moved my computer and clothes there.

after about 12 months we started arguing constantly, and i was fairly sick of it but decided to keep trying in hope it would get better.  It finally got to the stage where i didn't want to be with her anymore and she didn't want me to move on, one night i was sitting at home talking to my cousin Simon on the computer, mum was working and my phone rang.. i answered it to hear a guy say "you have made a big mistake, I'm gunna break your legs!" Simon had heard the conversation as it was on loud speaker, and before i could tell Simon to get to my house, he was already out the door on his way.

I also rang Curtis my brother in-law to come over, i had no idea who was supposed to be coming but i expected a car load of guys... Simon was at home in less than 10 minutes which means he was probably doing about 150kph to get there. Curtis had pulled up and was trying to calm me down, Simon was ready with a baseball bat and as Curtis had expected they didn't turn up.
Just goes to show what sort of woman Laura was to do that to me over an argument in a relationship.

Simon had told me to leave her and never speak to her again. i didn't listen. i ended up back with her, and by this time the family had hated her and didn't want me to see her.
Another night she caused chaos, was a night i was home alone again, we had been fighting again and i told her i didn't want to see her, she constantly rang and texted me saying she wanted to see me, i ignored the phone and didn't respond to her messages. I was playing poker and talking to my brother and Simon online, it was about 3am,  i heard a knock on my bedroom window, i knew it was her. i ignored it.
Lucas and Simon could both hear her banging, i couldn't talk back to them because she would hear me, so i texted Lucas and said "i cant talk because she will hear me".
She was going to every door in the house banging and screaming. next thing her Dad knocks on the window and says.. "Adam can you just give me her bag and ill leave".  So i grabbed her bag, ran to the front door and put it on the doorstep and shut the door. When she came and seen the bag she obviously knew i was in there,  she basically went psycho at this point and nearly smashed the door down.
i was thinking of ringing the police but i figured they would leave eventually.
3 minutes later she smashed my window!
I had had enough i shouldn't have to put up with that, i ran outside and screamed at her. She was bashing into me so i picked her up and carried her down the front to her father, he must have either thought i was hurting her or he just wanted to punch me, he came towards me and threw a punch, i dodged it and ran inside and locked the door.

Simon had heard the whole thing through team speak and rang my phone. He was raged and told me to put her father on the phone. i went outside and said someone wants to talk to you. Simon basically told him if he didn't leave he would be coming down.  He grabbed Laura and left.

I rung the police who turned up and when they came inside i noticed team speak was still on, i had pressed record and had the whole thing on record. I played it back to the police, and told them her dad is a cop. they basically laughed at how much of a psycho she was and couldn't believe her dad brought her there at 3 am and didn't leave when i asked him too. They asked me did i want to charge her, i said no.

After that  incident Simon had told me once again to leave her. I didn't listen and started seeing her behind every ones back. There was know one who accepted us being together except my cousins ex boyfriend woody, who was still apart of the family. I would often visit him and started taking Laura there and staying the night. it was the only time we could really spend together without anyone knowing we were together.
We spent maybe a month going there constantly, she had started a new job down in salamanca, we had started fighting again, this time i had enough and grabbed her neck and put her against the wall, woody came over and pulled me off her. a few nights later we talked and i said ill pick you up from work Monday night, she said OK.

Monday night came and i waited outside her work, it was strange there was no cars and it looked like nothing was opened. i rang her and said I'm here. She said, where? i said I'm outside your work. "oh Ive already left". i said where are you. "I'm at the welcome stranger with some work friends.
So i drove there, that was shut. i tried ringing her again she screamed at me and said leave me alone.
I was a bit shocked, and had this gut feeling she was with woody. for the last week she had been really quite, and so had he. I rang my cousin Reece and asked him to come for a drive with me..

When i picked him up i told him i suspected her to be at woodys, he kept telling me that he wouldn't do that, and i was over thinking things. I drove to his place and parked up the street.
We walked down quietly, and it looked like there was no lights on. just as i was about to leave i walked up to the bedroom window and heard everything i needed to know.
I bashed on the window, i was ready to kill this guy, i went to the door and had i known his two boys weren't in there i would have kicked the door in. He was yelling out to me saying "stop being stupid Adam its only Michelle" i kept telling him to open the door and prove it, but he couldn't.

He then obviously was shitting himself and told me he was calling the cops, so i ran back to my car, and my phone rang, it was the police.." is this Adam? are you the one banging on doors"? she told me if i was there when i got there i would be arrested. I took off back to her place, there was a part of me that was hoping i was wrong. When i got to her house i knocked on the door, her dad answered he said what do you want? i said is Laura here, he had told me yes and that she is in bed, i made him go and check, when he came back he said "no she isn't here". Then i knew. i told him she was cheating on me with my cousin, i went inside and was talking to her mum, she was telling me that she wouldn't do that, i just kept telling her to open her fucking eyes, 10 minutes later Laura walks through the door. Starts screaming at me the argument lasted 10 minutes, i left and took Reece home.

I was sick to my stomach when i knew i was right, I rang Simon the next day while he was at work. I started to cry and couldn't really tell him, but i knew that once i did he would just about kill Woody, Simon asked me what was wrong, i Told him. He took a deep breath and said, "oh well he is done then". I really felt scared for what was about to happen to woody. Simon rang me that night and said he went there after work and waited for half an hour but wasn't home.

A few weeks later Simon was at a bucks night of his best mate, the best man was woody. Simon tried to keep cool and not cause any trouble, but once woody mouthed off at the table, Simon walked up to him and knocked him out with one punch, i think he even got a broken jaw. I guess that's the least he could of got.

Simon told me for the third time, and this time he meant it, "if you see her one more time we are done", and it was.

It took me months to get over and i was pretty heart broken, but once time had past i looked back on it and just couldn't be happier it ended like that. Because if it hadn't god knows how long we would have kept going like that for.
Her and woody spend about 2 years together i believe, and from what i was told it was 2 years of hell for him.

Ben & Cameron college days




It was 2005 my first year of college' actually my only year of college, was definitely a great year for me.. when i started my two best mates at the time were Ben Richardson & Cameron Perry, both were pretty much A grade students, while myself a struggling student always getting in trouble. I just want to tell a few stories about those two guys.

Cameron & ben both had their license and would always be picking me up, i was madly in love with Nirvana and i had cameron hooked on it too, i had taught him roughly how to play bass and while another mate of mine played guitar we formed this nirvana cover band. we badly wanted to jam nirvana so i organised to borrow some music gear from school. Mr parkinson was really easy going and usually wasn't aware of anything.. so i said to cameron "could you pick the gear up in your car" he said yes of course. Once we got to school we loaded his car up with 3 amps and headed to dads for a jam in his lounge-room in tolosa street. I remember the jam was awesome and very loud!
one week went by, two weeks, next thing 2 months had past. I still hadn't taken the amps back, and was making good use of them. it was never my intention to steal them but i just couldn't get them back to school. I had grown to love these amps and for some reason i felt they were mine, One day at lunch time Mr Parkinson had walked up to me and said "hey Adam did you bring those amps back" i instantly said " yeah i left them in the music foyer" he said casually "ok no worries". I walked away thinking oh my god i have just scored these amps worth over 3 grand.
When i told cameron he just couldn't stop laughing at how stupid mr parkinson was for not checking, i guess the school could just write it off and get new ones pretty easily. Cameron and I decided to take them to cash converters and see what we could get for them. I think we visioned 3 grand cash in our hands.. when they offered $300 to us i decided to just keep them. I really didn't want them as i knew they were stolen and i genuinely felt bad. I ended up swapping the 3 amps for my first car.

I was definitely a bit of a rebel in school didn't have much care for anything except my friends.

Ben Richardson who also had his license used to pick me up regularly for long drives... he was probably my most funniest friend. The biggest thing that sticks out when i think of ben is he never had any luck with girls, he was constantly saying to me "Adam i dont know how you do it".
I just tried to tell him talk to them, he would always say i cant talk to girls man. He is 6 foot and was about 97kg we constantly ate pizza and he felt like a slob most of the time. Every time i came over he would say man we have to eat something healthy. I would always take my new girlfriends to his house to meet him and he would always be doing one of two things.. watching austar, or playing poker. he was always home and would never go anywhere. His mum was so nice ( she was my highschool teacher too) she would often set a bed up for me and provide my tea almost a few nights a week.

Ben has recently changed his life big time... he is now basically a professional poker player, hasn't worked a day job in his life except a few years at maccas. And is now travelling the world, constantly travelling to the mainland for poker tournaments and for leisure. Very proud of him, we are very similar like that. Both couldn't work an 8 hour day job if we tried. I rarely see ben now which is a shame i miss those days of having nothing to worry about except relationships. Another story about ben which is something he will never forget... Ben is a twin with James, they had their 18th birthday party at kings buffet, across from pizza hut. the night was going well until... when we was leaving a car load of people at pizza hut was fighting with Chris dienno who was with us. We were in the car ready to go just waiting on him, he was trying to get the tyre iron out of the back of the car to smash someone with it. I just wanted to get out of there, we had no idea what was going on... so we just left Chris there to deal with his own problems.. we got back to bens and sat in his room for a while i eventually left to go home. When i woke up he rang me and was so upset, i asked him what was wrong, he said you wont believe what happened after you left. All those car loads came back to my house looking for Chris and smashed it up along with bashing everyone... WHAT!? i said.

apparently Chris headed back to bens and hid in his fathers closet because 2 car loads of guys where after him.. they came in the house and bashed everyone, Ben was able to stay clear of it, and so did Chris. I went to bens place and the house was a mess, blood all over the carpet, shit everywhere, all because of Chris, who wasn't even a friend of bens, im not sure how he ended up there. The funniest part of the story is..., when Ben was telling me the details he said "i told Chris to go upstairs and hide" when ben went upstairs to tell Chris they had left, his dad woke up and said "ben whats all the noise? can you quite down please im trying to sleep". i laughed my head off. i said, did your dad not know what was going on.

well i dont think ben will ever forget his 18th.
Ben and Cameron where my two best mates and I haven't seen cameron in years i think he is busy being a chef. Maybe one day we can all go on a cruise and tell stories about our college days.

You either hate it or love it... lets face it no one loves school at the time your there
but for some reason you always say at some point.. "i wish i was in school again".
Many memories people could share im sure? and one bad memory that comes to mind would be... in music class of year 2004 which was my favourite class, me and a friend Ando was walking into the practice room, and as we walked i seen a microphone sitting on a music stand, so i grabbed it and once i got into the room i placed it inside a cupboard. No one seen me? i thought i could come back later with my bag and grab it, so i did. The next time in music class i stole a guitar tuner and another time with Ando in the practice room we both looked in this box full of accessories for music i found a double kick pedal which id always wanted so we took it and threw it out the window which was about a 3 story drop and nothing was behind the music room so it could just sit there till the end of school. As lunch started to finish up we decided we better go around and hide the pedal in case someone seen it. So we walked around the back of the music room and put the pedal behind a bush and as we walked back towards the stairs a teacher was on his way down to find out why we were back there.. Mr Mcnulty said.. "why are you boys down there?" i said we just dropped a ball out the window but we cant find it. so we kept walking... that was lucky.

After school i was to scared to go and get it so i walked to Jeremy's house who lived just down the road from the school, when i knocked on his door i told him about it and he was more than happy to do it so we walked up together and as i waited further down the bush for him i see him running up and grabbing it ninja style. He comes back and gives it to me so im off to go home and try it out.. score! i just got myself a free double kick pedal.

Few weeks later im sitting in Electronics class there is a knock at the door Mr Hill says "can i see you outside Adam" not thinking anything of it i walk outside, he says to me ive heard that you might have a few instruments at your house that you have taken from the school. I straight away said "no i dont". He looks at me funny and says cmon adam i know you have somethings there.. i say only a tuner, there must be more Adam maybe a kick pedal or something.. ? after about 3 or 4 minutes of him talking to me about this i just started bursting into tears because i knew i had been caught and there was nothing i could say or do but cry and hope that he wouldn't punish me. He hugs me and says its ok Adam just bring them back and nothing will happen, (as we know people who say that always have some sort of punishment waiting). But no he didn't punish me in fact when i brought everything back he just came up and asked me did i bring it back and i said yes, nothing more was said about it.

I was very lucky and fortunate to have such a great teacher who seen the good in me even though it wasn't like me to steal like that.

Short Working History

Well its funny every time I start a column I start with saying

How long its been since I wrote last.

I dunno what it is, I think its just my life is so busy

With music, friends, family and the business im now running.

But from the time I was flat out writing till now there is obviously

A big gap that if people are reading are going to wonder where my life

Took me those last few years…

In 2002 which was when I wrote my first column (10 years ago)

I was in grade 8 at St Virgils, in 2005 I went to Guilford young college

And in 2006 went to tafe Launceston where I studied Technical production

And one of the best years of my life it was one of the many journey’s life

Has taken me.

The next year being 2007 I started my first official job at Euro signs,

Followed by Mcdonalds in 2008 which was another year my life

Went on a rollercoaster. I met a girl while working there who took

Me on my biggest ride of my life, and looking back now years later

I don’t regret any of it.

2009 was a year that changed my life, probably more becoming an adult

Than anything, it was when I started my job at Cadburys in late 2008

Thanks to my brother who put a good word in for me from previously

Working there. When I started there I was earning between a thousand

To two thousand per week, met some awesome people there one person

That comes to mind straight away is Michael tuxworth a absolutely Funny

Hardworking man! I had many many laughs with him so I spent 3 years there

And that when I basically stopped writing, I have no idea why.

Some people wonder why I write and I guess its just a hobby but the most

Important thing why is because in 10 or 20 years I can look back and read these

Myself and take myself back to it. If I don’t write then there is a good chance

That I will have forgotten most of my life as people do, I think it would just be

Cool to be able to read about something that happen to me 20 years ago that

I would have completely forgotten if I hadn’t wrote about it.

So unfortunately I left Cadburys on bad terms only to go to inghams in 2011 which

Is and will always be the worst job ive ever done. After quitting there I finally decided

To start my recording studio as a business so Ive now done that for the last 6 months.

Lucas's 27th Birthday


Here i am sitting in my house for the first time writing a column in years,
i remember this day 6 years ago when Lucas had his 21st birthday party at
irish murphy's.
Dad and a few of my friends had set up the music gear and was playing some tunes
i look back now and think lucas would have hated that, he hates anything but rap.
Today im living in new norfolk Nina and Dad come up and we all had lunch for
Lucas's birthday, he then went out with a few friends.

Im now a big fan on Matt Hardy

because of his ability to make people
laugh and he is a great entertainer
i was watching some of his clips from
his new show "thematthardyshow"
and he is a wonderful guy and so down
to earth, he is just like me in some ways,
i watched the episode of him breaking up
with amy dumas (more known as lita).
It was him telling the story about what
happened and he had a stand
up cardboard of lita in the bathroom,
and he was talking to it it was funny.

I was also reading his myspace and to
tell you the truth i think its all bullshit
every myspace i go to that a wrestler
has seems to be fake and usually is,
but after seeing footage of matt hardy
and him saying to the camera "check out
my myspace www.myspace.com/theonlymatthardy
i was stunned so i checked
it out and whoalla it had a photo of
him with a peice of paper in his hand
with the address of the home page
so im more than convinced.
But i do think he is a wonderful guy it
would definately go Bret Hart then Matt Hardy,
its good for me that i have another idol
who is still wrestling and someone i can look
up to that is still in the ring, he is only
32 so hopefully he is still there in 10 years.

i just want to add a note about Triple H,
wow! he has changed im very proud of him
actually because he was one of those
guys who was always going to be a heel and
he was for so many years i think he new
himself he was getting sick of it,
he had a year off last year due to a
surgery on his knee and when he came back,
i was stunned he is a baby face now,
and its great he isn't the horrible person he was.

as for the rest of the wrestling show,
i guess Vince just has to do what get ratings going
like make out he has another son,
horns waggle thats so stupid, but it was funny to
see triple H laugh i don't think ive seen him laugh ever.

All Gone!!!!!


Its been a very long time since i wrote a column,
i guess ive been a bit busy, i mostly write
about important things or
things that have happened.
Now i'm writing this column because yesturday
was one of the worst days of my life,
I was playin around with my computer pulling
the harddrives out,
and changing the IDE
cords, trying to put two harddrives
on the same IDE whilst it wasnt
working i decided to give up and put it back
together and not worry about it.
I then went to turn the computer back on and
i seen an error saying something
about missing a windows file. i didnt worry at
first i then mucked aound with the bios
but it wasnt working.
now i rebooted my computer a few
days before and backed
everything up on a harddrive that i had.
once i rebooted vista back on my
computer i plugged in my
harddrive with all my backed up
stuff on it, when i clicked to
go into it, it said... "this drive is not
formated, would you like to format it?"
well i was panicking something bad,
the thing is i never even touched that harddrive.

well there its all gone and i dont no
what happened, everything
was gone, files from atleast 6 years ago,
music, photo's, documents,
downloaded files, and also my recorded
stuff and my Column.
i cant say most of my stuff was backed
up on disk's but some
of it was just movies and music, but i had
valueble stuff that will never be replaced.
i think to myself that i swear this was
coming! because weeks
before i was urging to back all my stuff
up on a different
computer, because i have atleast 5.
setting up a network is nothing to me
because ive done it alot
but for some reason it wouldnt work i
just couldn get a network
to run, i can get it to run on my laptop
but it has a very big virus
and havnt been able to fix it, maxines
computer it out of disk space
because i had atleast 80 gig worth of
stuff, and i just put it off for
weeks and weeks then all of a sudden
this happens and i cant find an explanation.

Well i guess things like this happen to
people, i was telling myself
that this is a sign that i should get off
computers and start my
wrestling career, because of all the talk
i havnt done one thing,
the reason for that is because i dont
want to start till im atleast 19.

well im starting all over agian, and those valuable files will never be replaced!

“Glad to be here”

Here is a story about when i was young and

definetly the most tragic day of my life.
When i was about 11 or 12, my dad, Carmen,

Tony, Lucas and me lived at this House in

Kingston and it was pretty much a mansion i

remember it was the biggest house i had ever

seen and lived in back then. It was like “The Perfect dark Institution”.
The place was in the bush i remember

getting on my bike and making tracks all

through the back yard, those were the days...

But what im about to get to is one of the most

upsetting times of my life even to think about.

It was always hard for me to write this i was

going to write it a long time ago but just couldnt.
I remember it like it was yesturday, One time

when i was there and everyone was asleep i

had made myself a little accident and wet the

bed, so i wasnt going to lay there so i got up and

it was about 5 in the morning.
We had just moved in and i didnt no where

anything was, so a came down the stairs and

walked down this huge corridor kinda like a

hallway but 10 times as big. I walked down and

seen this huge cupboard that had already been

there before we had moved in. When we came

to look at the house long time before the guy

that owned it told us that it was a bit dodgy and

he was going to get it moved, and i was there when

this was said too!
I had unfortunetly forgot about that, and walked

down the corridor and seen the huge cupboard and

opened it quickly and seen it was empty and closed

it, as i closed it i turned around to walk through the

kitchen (and this is the part i slightly dont remember)

and the next thing you no i was knocked out for a few seconds.

The massive cupboard had fell straight ontop of

my head, i guess im lucky that it never crushed

my skull. All i remember is screaming out to dad

as loud as my little lungs could handle.It took a

little while for him to come, whilst i had this massive

cupboard on top of me i could not move not even my hand.
Dad came rushing and lifted up the cupboard and i

remember seeing him and he was straining to lift

it and Tony and the rest came rushing to see, Dad

yelled at Tony to help him lift it and then they got

it off me but not quite just enough for me to crawl out,

and Dad said “Adam Get out!” my reply was “Dad!!!! i cant! I cant move”

all that kept going through my mind was i

was paralized! and was for that few minutes.

So i new that this was it and i had to get out so i

used my whole energy and force and crawled out

and layed there. Dad finally let go of the stupid

cupboard and held me and tried to pick me up,

i just couldnt do it. I was crying my eyes out i just

kept thinking that ill never be able to walk again.

The pain was killing me and i just wanted to be in

bed and hoping it was a dream, this was no dream.
Dad was trying to do some excersises with me just

minutes later trying to walk atleast 2 metres, and i

just did it falling into his arms on the very last step.
Ill never no why he never took me straight to the hospital.
He took me to the his bathroom and undressed

me and layed me in the bath and bathed me.

By this time i could move my neck and move limbs.
He got me out and layed me in his bed, i remember

laying in his bed for about 2 days straight. I memory

that will always stay with me is while i was in bed i remember watching Mars Attacks!
The accident made me suffer for atleast 2 months.

When i could finally ride my bike again i new i was ok.

We moved out of that house about a week later.
That was the most painfullest day of my life,

and im glad it hasnt effected me now.

Im 100% fine today and its been about 6 years later,
Ill never forget the day my life could have been

changed forever and im glad im still here.
I believe that people should live their lives to the

fullest and do everything you think your going to do tomorrow.

No one is promised till tomorrow, and if i could

change what happened i would because the pain thinking about what happened is enough.
